1. Introduction
Welcome to DataParse Academy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DataParse Academy website and services, including our educational programs, course materials, and related resources (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DataParse Academy Ltd., a company organized under the laws of Cyprus ("DataParse Academy," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Service Description
DataParse Academy provides specialized educational services focused on data parsing and related technologies. Our services include in-person and online courses, learning materials, mentorship, and related educational resources.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including the availability of any features, database, or content. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the Service without notice or liability.
Course availability, scheduling, and content are subject to change. While we strive to deliver all advertised course components, we reserve the right to make adjustments to curriculum, instructors, or course materials as necessary to maintain educational quality and relevance.
3. Account Registration and User Responsibilities
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to:
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
- Ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session when accessing the Service on a shared computer
- Not share your account credentials with any third party
- Not create more than one account per person
- Not impersonate another person or provide false information during registration
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice.
4. Payments, Fees, and Refunds
Course fees are as stated on our website at the time of enrollment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All fees are in Euro (€) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms:
- Full payment or first installment is required to secure your place in a course
- For installment plans, you authorize us to charge your payment method for each installment on the scheduled dates
- Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of access to courses
- Corporate clients may be invoiced according to terms specified in their service agreements
Refund policy:
- For Fundamentals (Beginner) courses: Full refund if requested in writing at least 14 days before course start date; 50% refund if requested 7-13 days before start date; no refund within 7 days of start date
- For Advanced Techniques (Intermediate) courses: Full refund if requested in writing at least 21 days before course start date; 50% refund if requested 8-20 days before start date; no refund within 7 days of start date
- For Enterprise Data Solutions (Expert) courses: Full refund if requested in writing at least 30 days before course start date; 50% refund if requested 15-29 days before start date; no refund within 14 days of start date
- For all courses: Satisfaction guarantee applies as specified in course descriptions, typically allowing for refunds after attending initial sessions
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the request is fraudulent, unreasonable, or otherwise improper.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, software, code, designs, graphics, logos, and other materials provided through the Service are the property of DataParse Academy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use course materials to create competing educational products
- Share access to course materials with anyone not enrolled in the course
- Record, reproduce, or redistribute lectures, workshops, or other live sessions
Student-created content:
You retain the intellectual property rights in original work you create as part of course assignments or projects. However, by submitting such work, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for educational and promotional purposes.
6. Code of Conduct
As a student or user of our Service, you agree to:
- Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect
- Not engage in disruptive behavior during classes or in learning environments
- Not share discriminatory, harassing, or offensive content
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not upload viruses or other malicious code
- Not interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Violation of this code of conduct may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account and access to the Service, at our sole discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DataParse Academy, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Any content obtained from the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service exceed the amount paid by you to DataParse Academy during the twelve (12) month period preceding the event giving rise to such liability.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the rules of the Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause. The seat of arbitration shall be Nicosia, Cyprus. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
Before commencing arbitration, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@dataparseacademy.cy.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to the changes becoming effective. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
